This Session IPA is a light, drinkable ale at 3.9% ABV that delivers pronounced hop bitterness. The beer emerged from a single 2000-litre base batch that yielded five distinct fruity variations through creative experimentation. The social enterprise brewery in Amsterdam's Bijlmer district merges monastic brewing heritage with contemporary craft technique. Despite its modest alcohol content, the Session IPA packs considerable flavour through generous hopping. It honours the 19th-century tradition of Session Ales—beers designed as approachable, refreshing daily drinks.
