About
Clément is a pale blonde session beer from Brouwerij De Ryck, a family brewery in Herzele with five generations of brewing heritage. The beer is named after Clément De Ryck, the brewery's second-generation brewer, who set out after World War I to craft a flavorful and distinctive alternative to standard lagers. Refreshing and dry on the palate, Clément finishes with a subtle but assertive hoppy note. Top-fermented and bottle-conditioned, it develops a lively character and creamy white head. The aroma is malty and fresh, with hints of banana and stone fruit alongside spicy, crisp hop notes. At 5.2% ABV, this is an approachable session beer that invites repeat enjoyment. The blend of pilsner and wheat malts, combined with Belgian and American hops added throughout the brewing process, creates a well-balanced, distinctive blonde.
