Since 2016, Brouwerij De Meester in Harelbeke has brewed artisan beers using natural ingredients and hops exclusively from Poperinge. Meestereske is their Belgian Tripel: a blonde, spicy beer with fruity notes and pleasant bitterness. On the nose, pale malt mingles with floral aromas and a hint of hazelnut. The palate balances alcohol sweetness with fruity esters and a clean bitterness. The finish is dry and hoppy, with a lingering aftertaste.
