Gloeiwerk is a Quadrupel from 100 Watt (formerly Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven), brewed in the monumental Schellens factory building in central Eindhoven. This dark, strong ale at 10.3% alcohol delivers a full-bodied, robust taste with pronounced malty and fruity character. The beer appears deep dark red and hazy with a generous foam head. The nose reveals sweet notes with a subtle tartness. The palate is assertive and layered, dominated by malty sweetness and fruity elements characteristic of the Quadrupel style.
