De Veldhovense Bierbrouwerij is a small-scale craft brewery located in Veldhoven, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. Officially recognised since January 2017, the brewery was founded by Ellen Verhoeven, driven by a genuine passion for brewing. The building that houses the brewery has a rich local history, having served as a neighbourhood pub before 1850, giving the operation a warm and authentic character that carries through into everything it produces. Each week, around 200 litres of beer are brewed on site, underscoring the truly artisanal scale of the operation. The brewery focuses primarily on classic Belgian styles in the medium-to-strong segment. The beers are predominantly malt-forward, with hops playing a supporting role, resulting in rich and characterful brews with depth and warmth. Alongside two core beers brewed on a regular basis, De Veldhovense Bierbrouwerij also produces special editions and one-off experimental batches, keeping the range lively and adventurous. Among the brewery's best-known beers are Boefke and De Drinkende Rechter, both of which have helped build the brewery's local reputation.
