Het Uiltje Big Fat Double 5 IPA
Uiltje's Big Fat 5 is a Double IPA brewed in 2010 to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Amsterdam's Beer Temple. This collaboration between Uiltje Brewing Company and More Beer proved so popular it became a permanent fixture. The beer draws its name partly from the five American hop varieties—Citra, Simcoe, Amarillo, Cascade and Chinook—that define its character.
Pilsner and wheat malts provide the foundation for a full-bodied beer with assertive hop bitterness throughout. At 8% ABV, it balances fruity hop character with a clean, dry finish.
