Hubertus Cornelis is a crisp dark blonde summer ale from Stadshaven Brouwerij in Rotterdam, brewed in collaboration with Man Met Bril Coffee. The beer is named after the grandfather of Paul Sharo, owner of the coffee roastery, honouring an older generation. What sets this beer apart is the addition of cascara – coffee fruit husks – which brings a distinctive freshness to the brew. Stadshaven Brouwerij operates from a fully restored 100-year-old fruit warehouse spanning over 5,000 square metres in the Merwe Harbour. With around 2 million litres produced annually, the brewery balances craft with scale. Hubertus Cornelis is approachable and cheerful, ideal for warm weather drinking.
