Weize Vos from Stadsbrouwerij Vos is a classic hefeweizen from Elburg, brewed by a family business with generations of hospitality heritage. This soft, hazy wheat beer combines the characteristic aromas of banana and clove with a subtle melon note. The taste is light and refreshing, with a pleasant acidity from the wheat malt that ensures smooth drinkability. The finish is fruity with a subtle tartness underneath. At 5.4% alcohol, this is an ideal beer for the terrace or barbecue. Weize Vos earned a bronze medal in the Weizen category at the Dutch Beer Challenge 2025 and was named the third-best weizen beer in the Netherlands.
