De Avontuurlijke Gérard is a West-Coast IPA brewed by Stadsbrouwerij Maastricht using five different hop varieties. This beer combines tropical fruit aromas with earthy pine notes in a pronounced flavour profile. The light malt sweetness balances the assertive hop bitterness, making it equally suited to sunny afternoons and deeper tasting moments. At 7% ABV, this IPA carries enough character to stand out without becoming heavy. It shines best on draft, where its freshness and fruitiness are fully expressed. Best enjoyed on the brewery's terrace overlooking the Meuse River.
