Damme Nation is the flagship of Siphon Brewing, a Belgian microbrewery housed in a converted sheep shed in Damme. This American-style IPA marries British tradition with modern hop craft: an amber malt base featuring caramelised Belgian specialty malts meets intense American hop character. The brewery employs a clean yeast strain to let the hop profile shine unfiltered. The result is a full-bodied beer with grassy, subtly smoky undertones and resinous tropical hop notes. Sweet caramel in the opening gives way to a well-balanced bitterness that lingers pleasantly without harshness.
