Tripel Traditionair
La Trappe Tripel Traditionair is a classic tripel from Bierbrouwerij De Koningshoeven, brewed within the monastery walls of Koningshoeven Abbey in Berkel-Enschot since 1884. This beer blends traditional Trappist brewing with a contemporary character: an amber-hued ale with fruity and hoppy notes.
The nose reveals peach and banana, supported by floral undertones. The palate is full and complex, with sweet Belgian candi character and a pleasant bitterness that carries cleanly through the finish without becoming harsh. The beer is bottle-conditioned with yeast and sugar, allowing continued fermentation in the bottle and contributing to its unique aromatic profile.
Brewed with only natural ingredients: barley, hops, yeast and water from the abbey's own spring.
