Omnipollo Selassie is an 11% Imperial Stout crafted by Swedish brewers Henok Fentie and Karl Grandin, brewed internationally at Crazy Mountain Brewing Co in the USA and De Proefbrouwerij in Belgium. It combines ten different malts with Ethiopian coffee and vanilla beans. The nose reveals roasted, coffee-forward aromatics with subtle vanilla notes. On the palate, roasted malts and Ethiopian coffee lead, supported by rich chocolate, mocha and caramel sweetness, finishing with a light, dry bitterness. The mouthfeel is velvety and smooth, with a full body that carries the 11% alcohol warmth without harshness. This is a contemplative, well-crafted Imperial Stout.
