La Trappe Dubbel is an authentic Trappist ale brewed by De Koningshoeven Brewery in Berkel-Enschot. At 7% ABV, this brown ale follows the traditional recipes of the Trappist order, using only natural ingredients: barley, hops, yeast and water from the monastery's own spring.

The beer presents a complex aroma with sweet, fruity character. On the palate, caramel, honey and dried stone fruits—plum, raisin and cherry—emerge with subtle depth. Bottle conditioning allows fermentation to continue, developing the beer's unique profile over time.
