Maredret Triplus is an abbey beer from the Sisters of Maredret Abbey in Belgium, brewed in partnership with John Martin Brewery. This 8% tripel stands out for its use of spelt and herbs including coriander and sage, drawing inspiration from Saint Hildegard of Bingen. On the nose, a pleasant spring fragrance emerges with citrus notes. The palate is distinctly spicy with assertive hop bitterness, complemented by the floral and nutty character of spelt.
