Leidsch Wintersplinter is a robust porter created for the twentieth Winter Beer Festival of PINT-Regio Zuid-Holland, developed in partnership with Dutch craft brewery Leidsch Bier. Matured on wood at 8.5% ABV, this beer develops its own distinctive character through barrel contact. The malt bill of pale, cara, brown and chocolate malt provides depth and richness. Northern Brewer delivers the bitter foundation (65 IBU), while Bramling Cross appears as both aroma and dry hop. The result is a powerful winter ale that surprises with unexpected refinement and balance.
