HillDevils Basement Barrel Aged Peated is a Russian Imperial Stout from Dutch brewery HillDevils, based in Wouwse Plantage. This intense beer was matured for two months on a Peated Beer Barrel, which imparts deep smoky flavours and complex character. At 10% ABV, it is a full-bodied, robust stout shaped by the powerful influence of the peated whiskey barrel. The combination of the heavy Imperial Stout base with the intensity of the peated barrel creates a beer for those who appreciate smoky, characterful brews. This is not an everyday stout, but an experimental cask in which each barrel brings its own unique flavour signature.
