Bay Ale from Galway Bay Brewery is an Irish Red crafted on the west coast of Ireland. This small beer with big flavour combines layered crystal malts, Munich malt and a hint of pale chocolate malt for a full, well-balanced profile. Moderate carbonation keeps it refreshing and approachable. The beer displays a ruby brown hue in the glass. On the nose, banana and clove notes emerge prominently. The palate brings malty sweetness with bread and caramel character, balanced by toasted flavours that give it depth without heaviness. Easy-going and rewarding in equal measure.
