Finisterra takes its name from the Roman designation for Portugal: the end of the known world. Brewed by Dois Corvos in Lisbon, this Imperial Porter is a dark and substantial beer that lives up to its namesake. The nose reveals deep roasted character with notes of dark bread, chocolate and caramel. On the palate, roasted malt dominates, layered with hints of dark fruit and a whisper of ash. The finish is clean and well-balanced, delivering the alcohol's warmth without overwhelming the drinker despite the beer's considerable strength.
