Brouwerij Van Viven in Sijsele crafts this bold stout with cocoa pellets, toffee and seven varieties of malt. The result is a dark, rich beer with a smooth, creamy texture and balanced bitterness. Dark chocolate, coffee and mocha notes unfold on the palate, accompanied by a subtle caramel undertone. The cocoa bitterness is present but restrained, rounded by soft praline touches. At 8% ABV, this beer demonstrates that ambition and craftsmanship come from Flanders.
