Brouwerij KEES from Middelburg crafts this classic Barley Wine with power and character. This heavy, sweet beer is brewed with barley malt and reaches 11.5% alcohol. The Barrel Project version matured for 27 months in Wild Turkey Bourbon barrels, adding rich bourbon, vanilla and woody notes to the malty foundation.

In the glass, a deep reddish-brown beer with full body. The nose shows toffee, caramel and dark fruit, supported by subtle bourbon notes. The taste is complex and sweet, with malty depth, while the finish dries gradually with hints of tobacco and wood.
