Keikoppenbier is the flagship of Brouwerij De Plukker, an organic brewery in Poperinge that grows its own hops on adjoining fields. This golden blonde ale at 6.1% ABV is built around a pronounced hop character and clean bitterness. Four malt varieties and two aromatic hop types create a balanced Belgian pale ale with distinct fruity character. On the palate, citrus and grapefruit flavours meet grassy notes and soft malt sweetness. A gentle bitterness provides structure without compromising drinkability. The finish is dry and peppery, with lingering orange peel and hop bitterness that fades cleanly.
