Stroop & Wafel is an inventive Strong Ale from Brouwerij de Molen in Bodegraven, created in collaboration with HEMA. This copper-coloured beer merges the rich, fruity character of a Barley Wine with the Dutch stroopwafel as its creative muse. At 8.9% ABV, it delivers a full body with notes of caramel, vanilla and cinnamon.

The palate is predominantly sweet with prominent spice notes of vanilla and cinnamon that stand out immediately. The finish turns bitter, adding structure and balance. Though no longer in regular production, this beer remains a striking example of how Dutch breweries blend classic beer styles with local cultural touchstones.
