Fontein RIS is a Russian Imperial Stout from Brouwerij De Fontein, a small independent brewery in Stein, Limburg. This characterful top-fermented beer displays a deep earthen-dark, nearly jet-black colour and delivers considerable warmth at 11% alcohol.

The nose is dominated by dark malts, with pronounced notes of liquorice, coffee and pure chocolate. On the palate, the same complexity unfolds: smoky and roasted notes form the foundation, complemented by dark fruit aromas. The beer carries a full body befitting its heavy style.
