Saison 1858 takes its name from the founding year of Brasserie du Bocq, when Martin Belot first brewed beer in the outbuildings of his farm in Purnode, Belgium. This saison honours that heritage with an authentic take on the classic farmhouse style. A traditional saison marked by dry, spicy character and the distinctive esters of saison yeast. The beer balances subtle fruity notes with a crisp, refreshing finish. Brasserie du Bocq brews with premium malt, hops and exceptionally pure local water, avoiding chemical additives or preservatives. Saison 1858 works well with seasonal cuisine and casual gatherings.
