Smiske Winter is a Belgian winter ale from Brouwerij Smisje, brewed with coriander and aged in calvados barrels. This is a full-bodied, complex ale with a warming alcoholic presence suited to winter drinking. The calvados barrel maturation adds subtle apple and oak notes that meld with the spiced coriander character and the rich malt base of the beer.
