Frastanzer Gold is a Märzen from Brauerei Frastanz, an Austrian cooperative brewery based in Frastanz and brewing traditionally since 1902. Brewed with water from the Three Sisters region and Lake Constance ingredients, it is open-fermented and cold-bottled without thermal processing. The beer pours a clear golden hue with a pure white head. The nose reveals sweet malt, corn and poached pear. On the palate, subtle honey notes lead, with tart character building gradually and a light bitterness emerging. Light-bodied with crisp carbonation. An authentic Austrian Märzen that honours brewing tradition and regional sourcing.
