Gjulia Nord is an unfiltered and unpasteurised ale from Birrificio Gjulia in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, northern Italy. This lightly built beer is top-fermented and displays an opalescent blonde colour with a fine white head. The nose reveals warm citrus and floral aromas, supported by soft malt notes. On the palate, a refreshing balance emerges: subtle malt sweetness tempered by hop character, with hints of white fruit and florality. It remains light and elegant, without harshness. This is a classic Italian ale with character, well suited to simple dishes, shellfish and soft cheeses. The brewery, run by brothers Marco and Massimo Zorzettig, builds on a legacy of agricultural tradition.
