Midsummer Melancholy is an Imperial Baltic Porter born from a collaboration between Sori Brewing in Tallinn and AF Brew. Created specifically for the Beery Christmas 2017 advent calendar, this ambitious brew delivers serious depth at 11% ABV.

The brewers incorporated Kenyan coffee and smoked malt to build complexity and character. After fermentation, the beer was aged on bourbon vanilla, adding warmth and subtle sweetness to its dark, smoky foundation. This is a beer for those who embrace intense, layered flavours and aren't deterred by roasted and coffee-forward notes.
