Guilty Monkey Brewery, based in Roosendaal, has brewed this Black IPA since 2021 using Mosaic and Magnum hops. The beer marries dark, roasted malt character with the bright, fruity aromatics typical of American IPAs. It pours dark brown with a full, off-white head. The nose offers tropical citrus, a hint of oak, and subtle coffee notes. The palate balances roasted malt with citrus-driven bitterness and dark fruit undertones. The finish is dry and bitter, with a pleasant warmth from the alcohol content.
