Crab Hands
Crab Hands is a Double IPA from Fuerst Wiacek, the Berlin brewery born in 2016 from a friendship between homebrewers Georg Fürst and Lukasz Wiacek. This hazy double IPA is brewed with 50% wheat and double dry-hopped with Motueka, Nelson Sauvin and Citra. The result is a full-bodied, tropically-inclined IPA with pronounced fruity and bitter character.
At 8% ABV, this is a substantial New England-style double that delivers complexity through its experimental hop selection. The wheat addition contributes softness to the mouthfeel, while the dual dry-hop schedule emphasizes stone fruit, citrus and herbal notes that linger through the finish.
