Papoen is a seasonal beer from Brouwerij Hommeles in Houten, brewed in collaboration with Epe Bier Collectief. This spiced pumpkin ale follows the American pumpkin ale tradition, made with pumpkins from Epe and American pumpkin pie spice. At 6% ABV, it strikes a balance between the natural sweetness of pumpkin and the warming spices that define the beer.

The beer took second place at the 8th Utrecht Beer Brewers Festival, reflecting its quality and originality. Papoen merges local ingredients with a classic American style.
