Geuze Mariage Parfait is Brouwerij Boon's flagship Oude Geuze from Lembeek, first brewed in 1978 when Frank Boon acquired the brewery. It remains true to the blending method established in 1874, combining 95% lambic aged at least three years in wooden barrels dating from 1883–1914 with 5% young lambic to drive continued fermentation. The beer delivers refined tartness without harshness, with bright citrus, grapefruit and subtle wood notes of vanilla and clove. The mouthfeel is full-bodied yet dry, with delicate carbonation. This is restrained sourness in perfect balance—a thirst-quenching beer that matures gracefully in the bottle.
