Bokke Abrikoos 2018 is a fruit lambic from Bokke, a blendery founded by Raf Souvereyns in Hasselt, Belgium. This beer blends 1, 2 and 3 year old lambics with three varieties of fresh apricots from France's Rhône valley, harvested in July and August 2018. The nose is dominated by ripe apricot fruit with underlying oak and subtle funk character. On the palate, the apricots shine through—juicy and fresh, almost like apricot juice—with mineral notes, tartness and pleasant oak complexity that deepens the overall profile. A well-balanced fruit lambic with medium body and moderate to high carbonation. The finish remains dry and crisp, with pleasant acidity that keeps the beer refreshing.
