The Garden Brewery was founded in 2016 in Zagreb, Croatia, by an international team of Croatian, Irish and English brewers and beer enthusiasts. The project grew out of a desire to bring quality craft beer to music festivals, and has since grown into one of the European Union's largest and most respected craft beer producers. The brewery is part of The Garden Collective, a broader group known for its festival and lifestyle ventures across Croatia. The Garden Brewery brews a wide range of styles, including ales, lagers and sours, all produced by hand under the motto "Created by Craftsmen". Their colourful cans have become a recognisable fixture in Croatian beer shops and pubs, and their regular portfolio enjoys wide distribution. The brewery is particularly known for its bold and flavourful sour beers, such as imperial fruit sours featuring blackberry, blueberry and raspberry with citrus notes. With a taproom located in east Zagreb, The Garden Brewery offers beer lovers a place to experience its beers at the source. The brewery has earned an award-winning reputation, combining the pharmaceutical process background of some team members with a hands-on craft approach, resulting in beers that stand out both locally and across Europe.
