Founded on June 14, 1898, by engineer Eugène De Ro, Brouwerij Haacht has its roots in the old dairy of Haecht, a small village in the Flemish Brabant region of Belgium. Over more than a century, the family-owned brewery has grown into a fully independent, 100% Belgian operation, now based in nearby Boortmeerbeek. Despite its considerable scale, Haacht has remained a family brewery, preserving its heritage while evolving into one of the most significant players in the Belgian beer landscape.
