Tongue in Cheek is an Imperial Stout from Dois Corvos, the independent Lisbon brewery established in 2014. This pastry stout features pecan praline and tonka bean, released as a one-off in March 2023.

The nose reveals rich dark chocolate and coffee aromas with subtle notes of praline and vanilla. On the palate, a full and creamy texture unfolds, bringing caramel sweetness, red fruit notes and chocolate, balanced by minimal bitterness that keeps the beer grounded.

The finish is soft and lingering, with chocolate and sweet undertones persisting. At 10% ABV and full-bodied, this is a warming, nuanced stout where the pastry ingredients are integrated elegantly without tipping into pure sweetness.
