Finisterra is an Imperial Porter from Dois Corvos, the independent Lisbon microbrewery founded in 2014. The name recalls how ancient Romans referred to Portugal: the end of the known world. Brewed with roasted malts including Carafa, Chocolate and Roasted Barley, and bittered with Magnum CTZ hops.

The flavour is dark and full-bodied: coffee, dark chocolate and liquorice lead, joined by nutty and caramel notes. The beer has a silky, rich mouthfeel with good balance between sweetness and restrained bitterness. Clean and surprisingly drinkable for its 8.5% strength.
