Altenburger Bock is a classic German bock beer at 7.0% ABV from the independent Altenburger Brauerei in Altenburg, Thuringia. The brewery has been crafting beer since 1871 using traditional methods.

This bock presents a golden-brown colour beneath a fine-pored head. The aroma reveals toasted nuts and hints of forest honey, complemented by subtle floral and woody notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and round, opening with a spicy character that gives way to malty sweetness. The finish is hoppy with a clean, assertive bitterness.
