Brasserie St. Germain was founded in 2003 by brothers Stéphane and Vincent Bogaert, together with Hervé Descamps, in the town of Aix-Noulette in French Flanders, northern France. The brewery was established in a former industrial building, rooting itself firmly in the rich brewing traditions of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, an area historically known for its distinctive Bière de Garde style. The brewery is best known for its Page 24 range, a lineup that celebrates traditional French brewing with a modern sensibility. Their beers include seasonal and year-round offerings such as Bière de Noël and Réserve Hildegarde Ambrée, an amber ale hopped with Brewer's Gold and Strissel Spalt, both hops grown locally in northern France. This commitment to regional ingredients reflects the brewery's dedication to terroir-driven brewing. The Bière de Garde style, characterised by its malty depth and cellar-aged complexity, forms the backbone of the portfolio. Brasserie St. Germain is regularly cited among the leading craft breweries in France and appears in market research reports as one of the key producers in the Bière de Garde category. Their Page 24 Noël showcases a departure from heavy malt-forward profiles, offering fresher, fruit-forward notes with a lively citrus acidity, demonstrating the brewery's range and craftsmanship.
