Power Move from vandeStreek is a West Coast IPA with assertive hop character. Brewed by brothers Sander and Ronald van de Streek in Utrecht, this double IPA showcases experimental HBC hop varieties: HBC520, HBC586, and HBC644. At 8% ABV, it provides a sturdy base for fruity and grassy hop profiles.
The nose displays bright citrus and herbal notes. On the palate, hop bitterness takes centre stage, balanced by light fruit accents. The finish is dry and clean, with a pleasant lingering quality.
VandeStreek earned a medal for Power Move at the Dutch Beer Challenge 2022 in the Imperial IPA category.
