Żywiec is a classic Polish pale lager founded in 1856 in the town of Żywiec, nestled in the Beskid Mountains. This is a clean, crisp beer with subtle malt sweetness and restrained hop bitterness. Brewed following centuries-old tradition using domestic malted barley, traditional hops and mountain spring water, Żywiec delivers a golden colour and refined flavour that avoids both excessive sweetness and aggressive bite. The nose is light and grainy. On the palate, a balanced character emerges with soft malt and delicate bitterness. The finish is clean and refreshing, with no lingering sweetness.
