Wispe was founded in 2009 by three brothers—Jerrit, Jitze and Remko Vellenga—to revive brewing in Weesp, a town whose brewing heritage stretches back to the 14th century. The region's clean water once made it an ideal brewing ground. This Quadrupel honours that tradition while bringing a contemporary craft approach to a classic Belgian-style dark strong ale.
