Trots Blond is a Rotterdam blonde ale born from a 2013 student project at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Four students developed this beer with and for the people of Rotterdam, grounded in local demand and community support. It presents as a bright, golden blonde with modest head and fine carbonation. The aroma combines malty and spicy notes with subtle floral suggestions and white pepper hints. On the palate, soft malt and delicate fruit flavours emerge with light to moderate sweetness. The finish is elegant and balanced, with the beer's refined carbonation providing a crisp, satisfying conclusion.
