Love Among the Ruins is a barrel-aged sour ale from Thornbridge Brewery, based in Bakewell, England. Aged for over a year in Burgundy wine barrels with cherries, this Flemish red delivers a sophisticated balance of sourness, oak influence and subtle farmhouse character.

The aroma reveals oak, red wine notes and wild yeast complexity. On the palate, sourness and fruitiness intertwine with honeyed sweetness and citrus hints, softened by extended barrel maturation. The finish is smooth and lingering, with a dry, measured bitterness.
