Jaipur is the flagship beer of Thornbridge Brewery, an independent brewer based in Bakewell, Derbyshire, founded in 2005. This American West Coast IPA became a pioneer in the British craft beer movement and demonstrates the brewery's commitment to American brewing traditions. Built on a foundation of Maris Otter malt, Jaipur is brewed with six American hop varieties: Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe, Columbus, Cascade, and Ahtanum. This combination delivers a complex blend of citrus, grapefruit, and pine, with subtle herbal notes. The beer is smooth and soft, with bitterness emerging gradually into the finish. At 5.9% ABV with crisp carbonation, Jaipur offers a balanced, refreshing experience without overwhelming hop bitterness. A classic that continues to deliver.
