Texels Tuunwal Tripel is a blonde, unfiltered specialty beer from Texelse Bierbrouwerij, brewed in the tradition of abbey ales. The name references the distinctive field divisions that characterize Texel's landscape. At 8.5% ABV, this beer delivers a full, warm taste with subtle sweetness and distinctive hop bitterness. The aroma reveals dark fruits, caramel and hints of banana. On the palate, complexity unfolds: vanilla, cherry, raisin and plum are balanced by spicy notes. The dry finish with a whisper of spice gives the beer character and definition. Unfiltered and bottle-conditioned, Tuunwal Tripel develops its full character through secondary fermentation. The beer earned gold at the World Beer Awards 2023.
