Texels Skuumkoppe is the flagship beer of Texelse Bierbrouwerij, crafted on the island of Texel since 1999. Named after the white foam crests of the rough North Sea, this dark wheat beer is brewed with natural ingredients, including locally grown Texel barley, and undergoes bottle fermentation. The beer delivers a full, characterful flavour with hints of caramel and apricot, finishing with a creamy, slightly sweet aftertaste and balanced bitterness. At 6% ABV, Skuumkoppe combines fruity esters with malty depth, exemplifying the craft brewing tradition of this island brewery.
