Texels Dubbel is the pride of Texelse Bierbrouwerij, a craft brewery housed in a converted dairy building in Oudeschild on the Wadden island of Texel. This dark brown, unfiltered dubbel is brewed with four types of roasted malt and undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle. The beer delivers a full-bodied, malty character with hints of caramel and apricot. The aroma is sweet and grainy, while the palate balances malty sweetness with a light bitterness. The finish is creamy and slightly sweet, with a gentle bitter edge that provides a satisfying conclusion.
