Witkap Pater Tripel is a classic Belgian Tripel from Brouwerij Slaghmuylder in Ninove, brewed entirely with Belgian hops. Originally created at the now-defunct Brouwerij De Drie Linden, this 7.5% ABV beer counts among the first tripels ever brewed. The beer displays a clear golden-yellow hue and a complex character. On the nose, muted spice and citrus emerge alongside floral hop notes. The palate reveals a refined balance of fruity yeast esters, honey-tinged malt sweetness, and a gentle peppery dryness that defines the style. The finish is clean and lingers pleasantly.
