Schelde Knots is a wheat beer from Scheldebrouwerij, the Belgian craft brewery founded in 1994 in Meer. This Hefeweizen-style brew embraces an unconventional twist, infusing kaffir lime and ginger to create a fruity and exotic character. The nose reveals citrusy hop notes and tropical fruit aromas. On the palate, wheat beer characteristics emerge with a pleasant balance between fruitiness and subtle bitterness. The finish is clean and refreshing, befitting a summer beer. At 6% ABV, Knots carries enough substance without heaviness. The beer was specially brewed to mark Scheldebrouwerij's 25th anniversary.
